 Collect Earth Energy

Bring hands together just below the navel area. Men right palm over left, women left palm over right. Stand relaxed, arm-pits slightly open, experience/collect the energy. 1-2 min.

exercise1

Stand with feet shoulder width apart pointing slightly outwards, keep the arms by the sides of the body, enjoy the new energy for a minute or so.

NB: For maximum benefit, this exercise should be performed out in nature, ideally near trees. Except where indicated, breathe naturally, inhale/exhale through the nose. Remove any metal objects i.e. watches, coins which may interfere with free movement of energy. This exercise is one example of several Prana7 exercises. The exercise outlined here works with the subtle and the physical body and is intended as to provide educational and inspirational insight in to the world of vital energy.

exercise6

BASIC SQUATTING POSTURE: Stand with feet shoulder width apart, take a couple of deep breaths, on the last out breath squat down. The feet and knees approximately shoulder width apart, feet pointing slightly outwards. Inside upper arms resting on the knees, arms and hands relaxed palms facing the floor towards the feet. Adjust the width, angle and position of arms and feet according to your structure and physiology.( Exercise examples shown above & below are variations of squatting postures. Instructions are not outlined)
DURATION: 1-3 minutes a day, as one becomes more flexible the duration can be extended. One can gradually make small circular (clockwise & anti-clockwise)/back and forth movement, to enhance the overall effect. To decrease the pressure on the ankles and feet or if it is difficult to squat without falling backwards one can use a piece of wood, a towel or a book, to raise/support the heels. (See photo above & below)
