CHAKRAS, COLOURS & MANTRAS
CHAKRAS(Energy vortexes), COLOURS AND MANTRAS: Besides the 7 melodic-scale tones affecting the 7 chakras or energy vortexes, mantras or power words/sounds have been employed in the long Indian Yoga tradition to activate these energy vortexes directly. These mantras are called bija or seed mantras, which are powerful concentrated root sounds. The repetition of mantras are called japa. The use of chakra mantras must be done with great caution and guidance.(Please see bottom of this page).
